Booking
European Catering Pty Ltd accepts a booking of a function when you have completed and signed our booking confirmation form and approved the abbreviated terms and conditions.
Final Numbers and Menus
European Catering Pty Ltd requires confirmation of final guest numbers 3-4 days prior to your function date and menus selections 10 - 14 days prior to your event.
Payment Terms
Due to the fact that many costs are incurred prior to your function date on your behalf, European Catering Pty Ltd requires a minimum of 25% deposit to be paid with approval of the quotation. A further 50% payment is required 7 days prior to your function date and the remaining balance will be invoiced after the event, payable within 7 days. Surcharges apply to credit card payments (1.5% for Visa or Mastercard and 2% for American Express).
Guaranteed Quotation
Once we have an event brief, we will forward you a quotation based on your individual requirements. This written quotation will clearly outline all costs and inclusions and will remain valid for 30 days. Cost will be adjusted to the original quote once event details including schedule and guest numbers are changed. Should your venue include any difficult access areas which may increase set up time for the staff/require more staff than the original estimate, this will be reflected in the costing.
Supply of Liquor
European Catering Pty Ltd is a holder of a Caterers Liquor License No. 24008189. European Catering Pty Ltd and its staff are legally obliged to refuse to serve alcohol who appears to be intoxicated or to be under the age of 18.
Cancellation
If the unfortunate should happen and you need to cancel your function, the following guidelines apply:
a) If written notification of cancellation is received more than 30 days prior to the function date, European Catering Pty Ltd will refund your deposit in full.
b) If written notification of cancellation is received between 7-30 days prior to the function date, European Catering Pty Ltd will refund 50% of your deposit.
c) If written notification of cancellation is received less than 7 days prior to the function date, European Catering Pty Ltd will not refund your deposit.
d) If less than 72 hours notice is given (excluding Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays), food and administration costs will apply.
e) If less than 48 hours notice is given (excluding Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays), food, administration and staff costs will apply. Staff will be charged for 4 hours.
Insurance
European Catering Pty Ltd is particularly conscious of taking care with all the equipment used for your function. European Catering Pty Ltd cannot take responsibility in the unlikely event of damage or loss to equipment (broken glassware, crockery etc.). The costs are the responsibility of the client. European Catering Pty Ltd holds full public and product liability insurance ($20,000,000.00) and worker’s compensation for staff insurance.
